The main objective of the project:
Trendline brings together 25 EU Member States (as well as 4 other European countries as observers) to collect data, analyse the data, provide key performance indicators on road safety and use them in road safety policies. KPIs – Key Performance Indicators – are indicators that provide information on factors related to the risk of road accidents and injuries, e.g. speeding, driving without wearing a seatbelt, talking on the phone at the wheel.
The Trendline project is co-funded by the European Union and builds on the experience gained in the Baseline project.
